Former “Tonight Show” host Johnny Carson
died on Sunday (Jan. 23). He was 79 and had suffered from emphysema. I remember when I was little that I thought my dad and Johnny Carson were brothers. They looked alot alike and my dad is funny, too. My favorite segments were when he was “Carnac the Magnificent” and any of the ones where there were animals. I never watched the show much after he left. I prefer Letterman to Leno.

Apple and Pepsi are teaming up again to bring us
free iTunes songs. Even though the promotion officially begins after the end of this month, the bottles are starting to appear. It figures that I gave up carbonated beverages for my New Year's resolution. I'm tempted to get some anyway because they're also giving away free iPods this year. WhooHoo! So, if anybody wants to relinquish their iTunes Pepsi caps to moi, I'd be more than appreciative!

To the protesters at today's Bush Inaguration:
SHAME ON YOU!
You hate President Bush: fine.
You hate his policies: fine.
You hate America: fine.
I know it is your right to protest, but at a dignified, honorable tradition such as a presidential inauguration, show some class and don't attend. All you managed to do was look like a bunch of disrespectful, spoiled, ungrateful idiots (especially the morons that put Hitler moustaches on Bush photos).
